I believe.. draft

I believe In the power of a library. Now a days people pick up their computer for everything. We turn in our text books at school to look everything up online. We stop turning to books for a quick reference. We pick up a tablet to read instead. Books are still as powerful as ever. Someone took the time to sit down and put their thoughts and ideas on paper. So i believe that we should honor that. Books have shaped societies. Book burnings have happened all over the world. People would claim heresy, blasphemy and sedition just to stop the message that the reader was trying to say. Even though the word of mouth is powerful, the power of a book is just as great.

Support your library!

Red Baseball player

One day a young boy and his mother were riding in the car towards a park. and the mother said "lets stop and get some McDonalds so we can have some lunch." So as they pulled through the drive-thru the child started getting excited " Chicken Mama! Chicken!!"  "ok ok, hold your horses. " As she ordered the food the little boy couldn't contain his excitement. "imma eat some chicken, imma eat some french fries, and imma drink my chocolate milk, then i get a toy!!" As soon as the food was handed through the car the little boy was bouncing in his seat. "Yay chicken! thank you mama!" They went to the park and sat down to eat. And finally the little boy said " mama please can i have my toy" and it was a red baseball player. The little boy was so happy he carried him with him everywhere.

Woody

Woody is a toy cowboy. His owner is a boy named Andy. He was the star in a couple of movies, and he is a hero to his friends. He sets a good image for children to be cautious but adventurous. never give up. and always stick together. His best friend is buzz light year. Buzz is a galactic space ranger. Together they are always getting into something. One day they realized it had been may years since Andy had played with them. He was going off to college and was simply growing up. Even though he was getting older he didn't want to give up his favorite toys. So we went to pack them up in a box in the attic.Only his mom didn't realize it and took him to the daycare.
